Note: You should switch off the lamp for at least 15 minutes per week.
A reflector and a ballast are needed for the operation.

For the proper operation of HPS (high pressure sodium) and MH (metal halide) bulbs, a power supply system is necessary. Directly connecting bulbs of a given type to the main may result in damage to the bulb.
